Flying into SeaTac
Hello out-of-state guests! You will be flying into SeaTac airport on the day of your arrival. SeaTac is massive and a busy airport located south of where we live. There’s a good 25-minute commute from our place with no traffic.
Transportation options are endless! We have the light-rail which will take you through downtown and all the way to Northgate, ride shares, car rental, or another great option is Dom & I can pick you up! Just let us know ahead of time.
Getting Around
Getting around with a car is probably the only way to go in Seattle. We recommend renting a car from the airport BUT word on the street is there’s an airbnb for renting cars called TURO that is supposedly cheaper. We personally have not tried it but have heard that it’s much better than renting a car from your normal car rental place. Another option when you just don’t feel like driving is to Uber. Ubers are widely accessible in Seattle, although it can be pricey. Take an Uber and you might get picked up in a Tesla too!
